UPS Just Went After the 2nd Amendment – They’re Actually Threatening to Stop Serving Most of Gun Industry

What’s Happening:

It’s not just Joe Biden going after our rights. Believe it or not, private businesses have joined the left to trample our constitutional liberties.

Even parcel company UPS is trying to undermine the Second Amendment with new restrictions.

From Ammoland:

UPS has stepped up its anti-gun campaign by requiring online sellers to ship an average of 50 handguns daily to use its 2nd Day Air service.

Sellers who do not ship at least 350 handguns a week risk losing their shipping accounts. Under the new agreement, UPS is only required to give customers a ten-day notice before cutting them off from the shipping service. The volume necessary means that most online retailers and manufacturers are now cut off from shipping guns through the carrier unless the handgun is shipped using the expensive Next Day Air service.

Wow. Talk about not wanting customers, huh?

UPS just announced that gun sellers will have to ship at least 350 guns a week to qualify for its 2nd Day Air service.

They are doing this, it seems, to shut down smaller dealers–who do not sell that many guns a week.

If they fail to meet this guideline, they will lose their shipping accounts and be forced to use the expensive Next Day Air service.

It’s hard not to assume this was done to discourage gun sales online. When this goes into effect, many online sellers will be forced to change higher shipping rates–which will turn away customers.

This would be devastating if UPS was the only package shipper in the world. But UPS runs the risk of alienating millions of customers by embracing this far-left, anti-Second Amendment agenda.

We are not sure what other shipping companies will do. But this move could be a golden opportunity for other shippers to snatch up these customers.

A smart company will offer reduced rates to online gun sellers right now. Prove to the country that when you “go woke,” you go broke.

In the end, this will in no way discourage people from buying and selling firearms.

Democrats keep throwing up hurdles to prevent Americans from exercising their First Amendment rights.

But they never seem to work.

Key Takeaways:

  • UPS is requiring gun sellers to ship 350 handguns a week.
  • If they do not meet this requirement, online gun sellers will lose their accounts.
  • The move was done to discourage smaller online gun stores from shipping goods.
