America is the land of the free–not the land of the free lunch.

Yet for decades, the government has hurt Americans by giving out too many handouts.

Liberals have created all kinds of benefit programs. Originally meant to help temporarily, millions get on these programs and never get off.

Until now.

The new rule changes the application process for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as food stamps, from every two years to every year, and narrows the unemployment benchmark for applicants…

You have to keep in mind that older Americans and those who cannot work won’t lose their food stamps.

This goal is to get able-bodied people off the government’s teat. It will make sure that young people who can work, will work.

Instead of letting people who can get good jobs keep collecting food stamps.

Isn’t that the goal all along?

And over 10 years it will save Americans $150 billion:

The proposed changes could save taxpayers $15 billion every year over the next 10 years, USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue said in a statement.

Don’t be surprised if Democrats at the state level try to oppose this move. They need more Americans dependent on food stamps.

The more people relying on the government to get by, the more people who will vote for Democrats.

It’s a sick cycle, but Trump is finally bringing it to an end.
