After Trump Makes Unexpected UFC Appearance – Top Fighter Calls Donald the “Greatest POTUS Ever”

Former President Donald Trump has been indicted on 34 charges of falsifying business records. But that isn’t slowing him down, and it doesn’t appear to be hurting him on the campaign trail.

His supporters seem more ardent than ever, and even more determined to put him back in the White House.

That was doubly evident at a recent UFC event — where even Trump probably couldn’t have predicted the crowd’s epic reaction.

Just days after pleading his innocence in court, #45 showed up at UFC 287 on Saturday night in Miami.

Many people know the former POTUS is a fan of UFC, but most didn’t realize he’d be putting in a personal appearance. And that was more than enough to generate an outpouring of support from the audience.

Trump took a seat next to Kid Rock (who was recently in the news for his anti-Bud Light stunt), boxing legend Mike Tyson, and UFC President Dana White.

It started when Trump stood up and waved at the crowd:

But the Trump praise didn’t end there.

Later, UFC star Jorge Masvidal, who’d just announced his retirement after losing his last fight, gave the audience a thrill by calling the former President the greatest ever:

Masvidal also said Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was the “greatest governor of all time” for the Sunshine State. DeSantis is expected to be Trump’s primary competition for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

Then he led the whole arena in a chant of “Let’s Go Brandon,” which has become the anti-Biden rallying cry among many Republicans and Conservatives:

Trump’s legal issues extend beyond the well-publicized indictment by New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

He’s also facing problems in Georgia regarding a 2020 election integrity inquiry, and that could prove to be a major hurdle. So far, though, most polls show that none of this is hurting Trump’s popularity.

In fact, it looks as if he’s surged a bit, moving even farther ahead of DeSantis and other Republican 2024 hopefuls.

However, many political experts and strategists say Trump would undoubtedly lose in a rematch with Biden, and Democrats are actually hoping Trump gets the nomination because of this.

We’ll have to wait and see if Trump’s seemingly endless court issues wind up hindering or helping him in the long run.

Key Takeaways:

  • Former President Donald Trump got quite the reaction when he attended UFC 287 in Miami over the weekend.
  • The crowd first chanted “U-S-A!” when he was introduced, then retiring fighter Jorge Masvidal called Trump the “greatest President ever.”
  • Masvidal then led the crowd in a chant of “Let’s Go Brandon!”
