This week, the first primary battle of the 2024 Election was held in Iowa. After campaigning endlessly and spending millions, the top candidates lost to Donald Trump.
The former president scored a historic victory, earning a landslide win among Republican voters.
This could set the tone for the rest of the election, sweeping Trump into the White House. But one Biden surrogate doesn’t see it that way and he desperately tried to spin the big news.
From Breitbart:
Democrat Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker is claiming that Donald Trump’s performance at the Iowa caucuses is showing the “weakness of Donald Trump.”…“This is the most famous Republican. He’s the guy who, you know, basically built the modern Republican Party, the MAGA Republican Party that Democrats are running against and half the people in that party didn’t vote for Donald Trump,” Pritzker told MSNBC.
In one of the more bizarre spins of the night, Democrat Gov. Pritzker and Biden surrogate claimed Trump’s landslide win in Iowa showed his “weakness.” The Democrat claimed because Trump won over half of the vote, he is unable to unite the GOP base.
Pritzker was ignoring the fact that Trump won the largest victory in Iowa caucus history—crushing his rivals. Republicans have won smaller margins in Iowa and went on to win the presidency.
But Pritzker’s take on Trump’s victory wasn’t the worst of the night. President Biden himself commented on Trump’s massive win. And he seems to be unraveling.
From The Post Millennial:
After former President Trump’s victory in the Iowa caucuses, President Joe Biden lashed out at his primary political opponent…“But here’s the thing: this election was always going to be you and me vs. extreme MAGA Republicans,” he continued. “It was true yesterday and it’ll be true tomorrow.”
Looks like Donald Trump just won Iowa. He’s the clear front runner on the other side at this point.
But here’s the thing: this election was always going to be you and me vs. extreme MAGA Republicans. It was true yesterday and it’ll be true tomorrow.
So if you’re with us, chip…

Biden accused Trump, once again, of being “extreme MAGA.” The struggling Democrat has tried to brand Trump supporters—including millions of Americans—as being “extreme” and “threats to democracy.”
Biden has failed to explain why he believes Trump’s agenda is “extreme” beyond just spouting attacks. Democrats have tried to frame Trump as an “insurrectionist,” blaming him for the events of J6.
Republicans quickly turn the attack around on Biden, accusing his administration of “weaponizing” the government against his enemies. Biden has even denied Secret Service protection to presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which some claim is deliberate.
Biden is struggling to build momentum going into the election. Sagging approval polls and ongoing problems at the border are weakening his re-election chances. His only recourse, it seems, is to increase his rhetoric against Trump.
Key Takeaways:
- Democrats appear to be panicking over Trump’s massive Iowa victory.
- Biden surrogate Gov. Pritzker claimed Trump was “weak,” despite a landslide win.
- President Biden accused Trump of leading an “extreme MAGA” agenda, a tired claim.
