Unfortunately for them, however, a new poll has just come out that spells bad news for Harris. This poll indicates that Trump has a far better chance in of winning this election than the left would have you believe.

Much of this election is going to come down to the battleground states of Michigan and Wisconsin. That’s why it’s come as amazing news to Trump that a new poll from the New York Times/Siena College has found that he has narrowed the small lead that Harris has over him in each of those states.

Among likely voters in Michigan, Harris received 48% support, while Trump garnered 47%, locking the Democratic and Republican presidential nominees in an essential tie well within the poll’s margin of error. Harris polled at 49% among likely voters in Wisconsin, while Trump received 47% support in the same state where polls usually overestimate backing for Democrats, according to the Times.

The Times pointed to the economy, which remains the most important issue for voters, as Trump’s strength on economic issues helps him edge away at Harris’ slim lead in the two northern battlegrounds. The new poll contrasts with August’s New York Times/Siena College survey, which has Harris leading Trump by four percentage points, 50% to 46% among likely voters, in the battlegrounds of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania as well.

The Economy Is In Shambles Under Biden And Harris 

It should come as no surprise that the economy is the main issue that is causing Harris’ lead to lessen. In the four years that Harris and Joe Biden have been in office, the economy has gone to shambles. Inflation continues to sky-rocket as millions of Americans in Biden and Harris’ America are struggling just to put food on the table.

If Harris wins this election, she will undoubtedly further the woke agenda that she and Biden have in place. This will only make the economy even worse and negatively impact the finances of millions of voters.

In contrast, the economy under Trump was far better than it has been under Biden and Harris. Trump runs this country like a business, and the economy benefits from this strategy. He is the only person who can fix the economic mess that Biden and Harris have forced upon us all.

Behind the economy, the second most important issue to Michigan and Wisconsin voters is abortion. On this issue, Harris leads Trump by 20 points in Michigan, but now only by 13 points in Wisconsin. Perhaps when it comes to abortion, voters are realizing that Harris’ woke ways take that issue way too far.

Michigan and Wisconsin are set to be critical states when it comes to winning the election. With just over one month before Election Day, we can only hope that Trump is able to narrow Harris’ lead even more. If he can overtake her in these battleground states, he could be well on his way to getting back in the White House!
