Trump Gives Christians a Dire Warning – Then Makes Them an Incredible Promise

From all appearances, Donald Trump will be the GOP nominee. Already, he’s traveling around the country, uniting conservatives and other voters fed up with the Biden administration.

He has been speaking to the American people about his potential second term. One of his stops was in Nashville, TN.

The former president spoke at the National Religious Broadcasters International Christian Media Convention. During his speech, he gave a sobering warning to Christians across the country. And, he made this major vow.

From Breitbart:
Former President Donald Trump promised to use a second term in the White House to defend Christian values…

“Remember, every communist regime throughout history has tried to stamp out the churches, just like every fascist regime has tried to co-opt them and control them. And, in America, the radical left is trying to do both…”

During a speech to hundreds of Christian broadcasters, Donald Trump warned about what the “radical left” has tried to do to religious Americans. The former president claimed that communist and fascist regimes have, throughout history, tried to “stamp out” or “control” churches.

And he said that Democrats in the U.S. are, shockingly, trying to do both. He went on to say that liberals want to “tear down crosses” or “cover them up with social justice flags.” In reality, it appears as if progressive ideology has become a religion of sorts among some Democrats.

Under Joe Biden, Christian Americans have seen their rights erode. Biden tried to mandate a permanent medical procedure—and often rejected religious exemptions. Biden has made one of his top goals to require abortions in every state—even when Americans vote against it for religious reasons.

Meanwhile, it does not appear that Democrats have tried to undermine the religious convictions of other groups, including Muslims.

In contrast, Donald Trump vowed to protect the rights of Christians. He said that “no one will be touching the cross of Christ” if he is elected president. During Trump’s first term, the DOJ went out of its way to defend the religious rights of Americans. They prosecuted cases where it appeared Americans’ First Amendment rights were infringed.

It is almost guaranteed that Trump will continue this kind of policy, during a second term. The former president’s track record of upholding religious rights and Christian values has been well-established. This will no doubt alarm leftists and liberals, who consider conservative Christians and other religious Americans “extremists” and “dangerous” nationalists.

Key Takeaways:

  • Donald Trump warned that Democrats are trying to “tear down” church crosses.
  • He vowed to protect Christian values and the religious rights of Americans.
  • This comes as Biden’s policies appear to erode Americans’ First Amendment rights.
