That’s why Democrats everywhere will undoubtedly be livid to see where Trump’s latest endorsement just came in from. Indeed, the mayor of a Muslim-majority city in the crucial swing state of Michigan has just endorsed Trump. He argued that the former president is “the right choice for this critical time.”

Amer Ghalib, mayor of the Detroit suburb Hamtramck, met with Trump in Flint at the end of last week. On Sunday, Ghalib took to social media to post an enthusiastic endorsement of Trump.

What Ghalib had to say about Trump in his endorsement is the stuff that Democrats’ nightmares are made of.

“Though it’s looking good, he may or may not win the election and be the 47th president of the United States, but I believe he is the right choice for this critical time,” Ghalib wrote in Arabic on his Facebook page. “I’ll not regret my decision no matter what the outcome would be, and I’m ready to face the consequences. For this, and for many other reasons, I announce my support and endorsement for the former, and hopefully, the next president of the United States, Donald Trump.”

He added: “Now, let the Caravan begin its journey. This is just the starting point.”

Trump Has Never Been Anti-Muslim

Democrats have long alleged that Trump is anti-Muslim. When it came time to meet the former president, however, it didn’t take long for Ghalib to see how false this narrative truly is. As soon as he actually began speaking to Trump, it became clear to Ghalib that the former president “knew a lot about me before the meeting.”

“We talked about various topics including the debates, the polls updates, the statistics of votes in Michigan and Wayne County, the Arab American concerns, and the Yemeni Americans in particular,” Ghalib recounted. “We also talked about the situation in Yemen.”

Clearly, Trump cares far more about Muslims and the issues that they face than the left would have you believe. That’s why you likely won’t be hearing about Ghalib’s meeting with Trump from mainstream media sources anytime soon.

Democrats take the votes of Muslims and other minority groups for granted. They think that all they have to do to secure these votes is accuse Trump of racism and xenophobia, even when they have no evidence to back up their claims.

Like millions of other Americans, however, Muslims have suffered greatly thanks to the failed policies of Democrats. After years of struggling just to put food on the table under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, many Muslim voters have understandably had enough of the left making everything about race and gender while doing nothing tangible to actually help the American people.

The fact that this endorsement came out of a key swing state like Michigan makes this even worse for Democrats. The left is counting on having the Muslim vote in Michigan. Potentially losing that could prove to be quite costly for Democrats when it comes to this entire race.

Ghalib’s endorsement of Trump indicates that the tide may be turning against Kamala Harris and her fellow Democrats among certain minority groups. It will certainly be interesting to see if more prominent Muslims endorse Trump in the weeks to come.
