Former President Donald Trump is now hoping to combat this in a big way. The stakes of this presidential election could not be higher, so it’s more crucial than ever that Republicans step up to increase election security.
On Tuesday, he called for Republicans in Congress to allow a full government shutdown if the SAVE Act isn’t passed to protect election integrity.

Election Security Needs To Be Protected

It should go without saying that American elections should be decided solely by American citizens. Anyone who can’t be bothered to take a legal path to citizenship shouldn’t have a say in who our next president is.
Sadly, thanks to Democrats, it’s easier than ever for illegal aliens to vote. During Joe Biden’s presidency, Democrats have allowed the border crisis to get exponentially worse. This has made it possible for millions of illegal immigrants to flood into our nation.
Since these illegal aliens are in this country largely thanks to Democrat policies or lack thereof, liberal lawmakers both hope and assume that the vast majority of these migrants will vote blue. Democrats have no problem with the prospect of allowing our elections to be largely decided by non-American citizens if that’s what it takes to keep themselves in power.
A government shutdown may seem drastic. Desperate times, however, call for desperate measures.
Millions of Americans are struggling just to put food on the table in Biden’s America. If Kamala Harris wins this election, life in America will likely get far worse.
Given how tight this race appears to be, we can’t afford any failures in election integrity. Indeed, even the smallest loopholes in election security could push Harris over the edge. Democrats have already shown that there is nothing that they won’t do when it comes to beating Trump. That’s why Republicans need to step up to keep them in line by protecting the integrity of this election.
