Trump Drops MAGA-Bomb on Biden – Donald’s “Conviction” Leads to Unbelievable Surge

Democrats in the media are parading around the claim that Trump is now a “convicted felon.” It doesn’t matter what they think. Most Americans believed these criminal cases against Trump were always about the election. It seems Democrats are trying to derail Trump’s chances by making him look as bad as possible.

But the New York guilty verdict outraged millions of Americans. And they were quick to send a message to Democrats and the D.C. swamp.

Eric Trump claimed that three days after the verdict, his campaign brought in $200 million. Seventy million of that were from small-dollar donations. Now, just under a week after the verdict, Trump is announcing how much his campaign has brought in. Biden should be distraught.

From The Post Millennial:
Speaking at a Turning Point Action event on Thursday evening, 2024 GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump announced that his campaign has raised $400 million since his conviction in New York City in late May…

Trump said that he was “beating Biden, by the way, by a lot,” adding that “right after the announcement of this, more campaign funds were given to this campaign than any campaign they think in history, almost $400 million.”

Donald Trump spoke at a Turning Point action event this week. He discussed the New York trial and his guilty verdict. While blasting Democrats for this criminal conviction, he revealed how Americans responded to it. According to Trump, he received around $400 million due to the criminal trial.

If this number holds, it will be a record. Trump made this announcement less than a week after the verdict was rendered. For that much money to be given or pledged to his campaign that quickly—well, I don’t have to tell you that is very good for Trump and very bad for Biden.

President Biden had a fundraising advantage earlier in the year. While Democrats made a big deal about that, they neglected to point out that the GOP primaries were still going on, with several Republicans still running. Once DeSantis and Haley dropped out, Trump campaign donations only surged.

The infamous guilty verdict has lit a fire under Americans to flood Trump with support. It could be that Trump raises more money than Joe Biden this election cycle, including Biden’s hefty support from big donors.

In either case, the Biden campaign must be smarting right now. They campaigned outside the courthouse, clearly using the trial for political ends. Instead, Trump is more popular today than he was before the verdict.

Democrats might be rethinking this “lawfare” tactic.

Key Takeaways:

  • Donald Trump claimed his campaign raised $400 million after the guilty verdict.
  • Americans have rushed to support Trump, believing the conviction is lawfare.
  • The Democrat-led prosecutions against Trump may backfire hard.
