The liberal media has not stopped harassing Trump since he announced his 2024 presidential run. He has had to deal with a variety of accusations even after Biden won in 2020. With liberals coming up with criminal allegations and blaming him for Biden’s work or lack thereof, he’s constantly had to defend himself.
Normally, he is open to answering reporters’ questions. But this time, he got fed up with one particular reporter who just wouldn’t let go.
During an informal press meeting on Trump’s plane, NBC news reporter Vaughn Hillyard decided to keep pressing him about Manhattan DA Alvin Brag’s investigation.
From Fox News:
As Hillyard continued to state his question, a frustrated Trump reportedly grabbed the reporter’s two phones from the table in front of him and tossed them to the side, a source familiar with the matter told Vanity Fair.
In the obtained audio recording, Trump can be heard telling his aides to “Get him out of here.”
“Let’s go, get him out of here. Out of here. Out of here,” he said.
The journalists were then escorted away, the Washington Post reported.
Hillyard was asking whether Trump was frustrated with the investigation. After he replied that he was not and called it fake news, he decided to ask about it again after a half-hour.
It’s a classic tactic reporters like to use: If you are asking the wrong questions, you’re going to get the wrong answer. The solution? Figure out the right questions to get the right answer! In other words, ask the same question in different ways to get the answer you’re looking for.
Too bad for Hillyard that’s not how real life works. The problem wasn’t about effective communication, it was that he was bullying Trump by continuing to ask about the same subject. Apparently, he’s never heard of the saying, “You catch more flies with honey.”
Let’s keep in mind that it was in 2016 when the liberal media originally accused him of the felony. That’s a long time to have reporters bad-mouthing him, and he refuses to allow them to hound him.
- Trump had the NBC news reporter Vaughn Hillyard removed after he said to “get him out of here” during an informal press conference on his plane.
- Hillyard, who asked if he was frustrated with the investigation, refused to change the subject after Trump answered him.
- He called it “fake news” and “political persecution and election interference at the highest level in history.”
