Texas Declares Victory Over California – Lone Star State Takes The Crown

California thought it would win – but red Texas beat them. Now they’re triggered.

When everyone thinks of the most beautiful, happy cities in America, most are thinking the sunny beaches of California, right? Wine country?

Turns out Texas is beating the Golden State there, too.

While sunny California may have grabbed more spots, they lost out on having the happiest residents.

According to a new survey, that award goes to a city in Texas. From the Daily Caller:

WalletHub did a great dive into the best cities Monday and ranked them on a composite score determined by: emotional and physical well-being, income and employment, and community and environment… The happiest city in America is apparently Plano, Texas.

Unsurprisingly, no states on the East Coast landed in the top ten. Hmm… I wonder why?

The cities on this list tend to have a positive balance of good incomes, ample employment, and communities that people enjoy being a part of.

It’s hard to gauge every element that makes a city a happy place, but we can speculate why Plano is number one.

Texas is made up of hard-working citizens who love their country. Its people look out for one another and care about their communities.

Conservative values ensure that schools are top notch, there are plenty of jobs, and the America dream is achievable.

Not on this list are major cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. Places that are burdened with heavy taxes, regulation, and high cost of living.

Not to mention are overcrowded, full of crime, and not especially clean streets.
