Never let it be said that Texas Sen. Ted Cruz can’t handle the heat. He actually appeared on the worst show in America, just to bring his message to its audience. That’s right, the conservative Republican decided to go on The View, a show known for its brain-dead hosts’ idiotic liberal rants.
So, how did this den of hags handle a strong, confident man who knows what he’s talking about? Well, things went off the rails almost immediately. At the very beginning, environmental activists actually heckled the hosts.
Whoopi took the lead to scold the left-wing protesters, ordering them out. But as soon as Cruz called out the left’s hypocrisy over election denial, it was the hosts’ turn to have a meltdown.
From Fox News:
“The View” panel erupted on Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Monday after he confronted the hosts about election deniers and political violence on the left…
“There are a lot of folks in the media that try to, any time a Republican is in front of a TV camera try to say, ‘the election was fair and square and legitimate.’ You know who y’all don’t do that to? You don’t do it to Hillary Clinton who stood up and said, ‘Trump stole the election.’ You don’t do it to Stacey Abrams who said the election was ‘stolen.’ They sat here and said it was illegitimate and you guys were fine with it!” he said.
“You guys were fine!” Ted really called out their complete and utter hypocrisy, which they are clearly blind to.
But before the senator even finished his point, Whoopi jumped in. She actually confirmed what Cruz was saying, claiming Clinton and Abrams were right to say their elections were stolen. Whoopi tried to defend her claims by saying Democrats “don’t storm,” referring to the over-hyped and worn-out argument of January 6th.
It only got worse from there. These liberal harpies didn’t appreciate Ted Cruz confronting their own hypocrisy. Apparently, these women are used to guests who just smile and say whatever they agree with. They don’t like it when a man comes in with facts and logic, forcing them to face their own stupidity.
Cruz commented on how the interview ended up, calling it a “bit of a circus.” But he defended his appearance on the left-wing show, saying he wanted to reach more than the typical Republican voter. He wasn’t “preaching to the choir” but trying to bring facts and information to liberal viewers, who are normally fed the same leftist talking points as CNN or ABC News.
Whether he was able to reach anyone or not, we don’t know. But it was a very good example of how liberals overreact when confronted with facts they don’t like.
- Cruz appeared on The View to discuss the upcoming election.
- The hosts had to order hecklers and protesters out of the audience.
- The hosts later erupted when Cruz confronted them on election denial.
