After Democrat Leader Wagers with Ted Cruz – His Sharp Comeback Sends Eric Swalwell Spinning

What’s Happening:

Democrats are always looking for ways to boost their profiles. Take, for instance, disgraced Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell. He was removed from his coveted House committee positions, after years of shocking and scandalous behavior.

To get some positive PR, he offered a wager to Republican Sen. Ted Cruz. He made a bet that, whoever’s football team wins in the upcoming playoff game, the loser has to quit Twitter for two weeks. An odd wager, to say the least. But Cruz came up with a much better alternative.

From Breitbart:

Swalwell decided to seize on the opportunity and challenge Cruz to a bet. If the 49ers win, Cruz can’t tweet for the rest of January. Likewise, Swalwell can’t tweet for the rest of the month if the Cowboys win.

Sounds fair, right?

But then Cruz upped the ante.

Ouch! Cruz come up with a better wager between himself and far-left Democrat congressman Eric Swalwell. Instead of agreeing to leave Twitter for a few weeks, Cruz suggested the loser treats the winner to a Chinese dinner.

What’s so hilarious about that? Well, Swalwell should be pretty well-versed in eating out at Chinese restaurants, given his illicit relationship with a literal Chinese spy. Fang Fang worked for the communist Chinese government as a spy.

She targeted Bay Area politicians, seducing them with parties, dinners out, and even physical relationships. While the details of Swalwell’s relationship with Fang remain a mystery, he got so close to her that the FBI had to get involved.

Swalwell was clearly compromised by this spy, while serving on House committees that handled national secrets. Yet, despite that, Nancy Pelosi refused to kick him off in disgrace. Swalwell’s inappropriate relationship with this spy could have put Americans at risk. But Democrats did nothing to hold him accountable.

Cruz is reminding the country that Swalwell is far from a trustworthy figure. The fact that he still has a seat in Congress is criminal. And his playful little wager is not enough to gloss over his failures.

It seems Cruz in no way wants to play a game with this compromised Democrat.

Key Takeaways:

  • Eric Swalwell offered a bet with Sen. Ted Cruz over an upcoming NFL game.
  • Ted Cruz fired back with a jab at Swalwell’s shady history with a Chinese spy.
  • Swalwell was confronted by the FBI over his relationship with Fang Fang, a CCP spy.
