It’s no secret that the American education system is in a crisis. Indeed, the standards of our schools have been plummeting for quite some time. This has put us behind many other nations when it comes to educating young people.

Meanwhile, Democrats are consistently prioritizing illegal aliens over the well-being of American citizens. This has only worsened the American education crisis. Sadly, Democrats are far more focused on helping out illegal immigrants than they are on improving our schooling systems.

In the radically liberal city of Chicago, the American education and illegal immigration crises have just collided in the worst way possible. What teachers in Chicago have just spoken out to reveal is the stuff that nightmares are made of. It shows just how dire America’s future truly is.

Multiple teachers at Chicago Public Schools say administrators told them to give illegal migrant students passing grades last school year.

Several elementary school teachers told WGN Radio they were instructed by school administrators to give their migrant students a 70% grade in every subject and approve their move up to the next grade, even if the children demonstrated severe academic deficiencies.

Complicating matters, none of the elementary school students in these teachers’ classes spoke any English, while the teachers spoke no Spanish. The schools did not offer classes to teach English as a second language.

What?!

We knew things were bad in the blue city of Chicago. However, even we never thought that they would let their schools deteriorate to this level.

Migrants Are Overwhelming Chicago

It should be noted that since 2022, almost 50,000 illegal migrants have been bussed to Chicago from the Texas border. Chicago is currently paying to shelter around 13,000 newly arrived migrants.

Needless to say, this has all put a serious financial strain on the city of Chicago. In the past two years, Chicago has spent over $400 million on migrants. Much of this money goes to sheltering them, and as the city prepares to head into the colder months of winter, that amount is likely to dramatically increase.

With all the issues that American schools are facing right now, it’s nothing short of infuriating that this is what Chicago schools are focusing on. Instead of bettering the educations of actual American citizens, they’re worried about ensuring that illegal aliens are passing their classes regardless of language barriers and academic deficiencies.

It doesn’t get much more ridiculous than that!

This is all part of the bigger picture of Democrats prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens. Having alienated millions of actual American voters with their failed policies, Democrats have taken to catering to illegal aliens in a desperate attempt to stay in power.

After making it as easy as possible for illegal immigrants to vote, Democrats are trying to ensure that they keep this voting block on their side by making life as easy for them as they can. It seems that now, this strategy has even trickled down to American elementary schools.

The current focus should be on improving the educations of youths who are actual American citizens, not on passing illegal aliens when their grades don’t measure up. If this kind of nonsense continues in our schools, it’s tragic to imagine what the future of America will be when this generation of youths reach adulthood.
