The Trump/Russia saga continues to drag on, despite a lack of evidence and an exasperated American public.
Whatever patience Trump supporters once had for Mueller has long since disappeared since the special counsel began revealing its true partisan colors.
But it’s not only Trump’s supporters that are growing weary of this hysterical witch hunt. A former Trump employee is beginning to fight back, and he is more than prepared to face the backlash.
From Fox News:
Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg vowed Monday to refuse a subpoena from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team to appear before a grand jury this week as part of the Russia probe, defiantly claiming: “Let him arrest me.”
Nunberg told the outlet on Monday that Mueller’s team requested records from him of conversations he had with outgoing White House communications director Hope Hicks, former White House strategist Steve Bannon, Trump attorney Michael Cohen, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and adviser Roger Stone. All worked with Nunberg on the campaign.
Despite being fired by the Trump campaign twice, once in 2014 and again in 2015, Nunberg has emphatically denied that his former boss had any help from Russia during his presidential run.
“Donald Trump won this election on his own. He campaigned his ass off. And there is nobody who hates him more than me.”
If even Trump’s detractors are denying collusion with Russia, why is the investigation continuing, costing American taxpayers $5 million dollars as of 2017?
The only collusion that occurred during the 2016 election was between Hillary Clinton and the DNC to cheat Bernie Sanders out of the nomination. This crime is only one of many associated with Clinton, but investigations into her nefarious activities have yielded no jail time thanks to the establishment circling its wagons around her. Mueller is yet another Clinton lapdog who will do anything to protect his master.
Are we supposed to pretend that Mueller’s team isn’t biased when several of his attorneys have collectively contributed over $62,000 to Democrats? Are we supposed to believe that Mueller attorney Jeannie Rhee can remain impartial even though she defended the Clinton Foundation in a racketeering lawsuit?
This Russia probe is filled with red flags, and the American public is not being fooled. Mueller should end this bogus investigation immediately and focus on actual threats to the homeland.
