Red State Governor Signs Powerful Law – Now Illegal Aliens Are Starting to Panic

Criminals who don’t face punishment are destined to continue committing crimes and encourage others to do the same. This has held true for millions of illegal immigrants flooding into the United States with no chance of being held accountable.

As illegals continue to cross into the country without legal repercussions it sends a message around the world that anyone can get in. Joe Biden has made it clear that he wants more illegals, and they don’t have to fear him or his administration.

Biden’s support of illegals overrunning the border has prompted states like Texas to take action. The red state fought back against the president and his federal agencies with a law allowing state law enforcement to arrest and deport illegals.

Now Texas has an ally in another red state governor. This friend of the Constitution wants illegals gone from her state.

From The Daily Wire:
Republican Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signed a bill into law on Wednesday that allows state authorities to arrest and deport immigrants in Iowa who have previously been deported or denied entry into the country.

“The Biden Administration has failed to enforce our nation’s immigration laws, putting the protection and safety of Iowans at risk,” Reynolds said. “Those who come into our country illegally have broken the law, yet Biden refuses to deport them. This bill gives Iowa law enforcement the power to do what he is unwilling to do: enforce immigration laws already on the books.”

Iowa’s GOP-controlled legislature was joined by multiple Democrats to pass the measure last month. The new law is set to go into effect on July 1. The measure makes “illegal reentry” a state crime, and illegal immigrants who break the law could face up to two years in prison and deportation, Iowa Public Radio reported.

The Iowa law follows a similar law in Texas and adds some teeth to combat criminals in The Hawkeye State. An immigrant could be guilty of a Class C felony and face up to 10 years in prison for illegally entering the country if also arrested for committing another felony. The law also requires Iowa judges to submit an order for a person convicted of illegally entering the U.S. to be deported to their home country.

Iowa’s law will likely face legal challenges similar to Texas where the state’s new law is held back by a legal battel with the Biden administration. A federal appeals court has blocked the Texas law for now.

Supporters of state laws challenging illegal immigration assert that states have a constitutional right and duty to protect themselves from what is arguably an invasion along the U.S southern border. Under Biden’s administration, Customs and Border Protection has reported around eight million migrant encounters at the U.S. southwest border and nearly two million “gotaways.”

Key Takeaways:

  • A red state governor signed into law a tough bill that should send illegals into a panic.
  • Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said illegals have broken the law and must be held accountable.
  • Supporters of the action said the Biden’s flood of illegals into the U.S. is an invasion.
