NY Mayor Eric Adams Tell Pro Hamas Protestors To Wait Until After November

New York City is no stranger to protests, but what unfolded on Wednesday night was something far more sinister. A group of anti-Israel agitators disrupted a rally for Kamala Harris, turning what should have been a political gathering into a chaotic scene of hate and violence. Armed with a photo of terrorist Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, these extremists shouted, “normalize the intifada” and aggressively interrupted speeches.

But they didn’t stop there. The mob then targeted an after-party at a nearby restaurant, setting off smoke bombs and clashing with the police.

You’d think that such a blatant display of hostility would have been met with swift and strong condemnation from New York’s leadership. But instead, Mayor Eric Adams, the so-called leader of this city, offered nothing more than a weak, almost apologetic response. “I don’t mind that you want to raise your voice,” Adams said, as if this was just another peaceful protest. He then said something very shocking.

From Daily Wire:
On Wednesday night, a huge mass of anti-Israel agitators disrupted a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in New York City, holding a photo of terrorist Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, yelling “normalize the intifada,” and interrupting speeches…

New York City Democratic Mayor Eric Adams addressed the agitators, saying weakly, “I don’t mind that you want to raise your voice. … Hold onto all of that anger until after November. November you need to be laser-focused on one thing,” according to POLITICO. New York Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul was also in attendance at the rally.

Eric Adams, mayor of New York, seemed to be encouraging America-hating antisemitics to continue their crusade. He told them to “hold on to all of that anger until after November. November you need to be laser-focused on one thing,” according to POLITICO. Seriously? This is the best he could muster? It’s like he’s more concerned with managing their anger for political gain than actually addressing the hate being spewed on his streets.

And where was Governor Kathy Hochul in all of this? She was at the rally too, but her silence speaks volumes. It’s infuriating to see our leaders tiptoe around such blatant acts of aggression, especially when those actions are so clearly tied to a dangerous ideology that has no place in civilized society.

This isn’t the first time New York has seen such disturbing scenes. Just two weeks ago, pro-Hamas protesters took to Times Square, waving Hamas flags, chanting “globalize the intifada,” and hurling grotesque accusations at Israel. The sheer hatred on display was chilling, and yet, the response from those in power was once again tepid at best.

But let’s not forget who we’re dealing with here—Kamala Harris, who has a history of pandering to anti-Israel sentiments. Back in September 2021, she actually supported a student who accused Israel of committing “ethnic genocide” against Palestinians. Instead of challenging this inflammatory and false claim, Harris praised the student for speaking up, saying, “Your truth cannot be suppressed, and it must be heard.” Harris’s willingness to validate such dangerous rhetoric is not only reckless, it’s downright shameful.

It’s no wonder that these agitators feel emboldened to disrupt Harris’s rallies. They know that with her in power, they have an ally who is more likely to placate their demands than to stand up for Israel. The fact that Harris joined President Biden in a private call with Netanyahu after Israel took out top terrorists, including Hezbollah’s top military commander, is just another example of her misguided approach. Instead of supporting our ally in its fight against terrorism, Harris seems more interested in appeasing those who wish to see Israel fall.

This is the state of leadership we’re dealing with—a vice president who refuses to stand unequivocally with Israel, and local leaders who cower in the face of radical extremism. It’s an outrage, and it’s something every American should be deeply concerned about as we head into the 2024 election.

Key Takeaways:

  • Anti-Israel agitators disrupted a Kamala Harris rally in NYC, causing chaos and clashing with police.
  • Mayor Eric Adams and Governor Kathy Hochul offered cowardly responses, failing to condemn the violence.
  • Kamala Harris has a history of pandering to anti-Israel sentiments, further emboldening extremists.
