Nancy’s in deep trouble – her big win cost her more than she expected.

The Democrats pulled out all the stops these midterms, hoping for a big, blue wave.

They did manage to win back seats in the House. But the “blue wave” that could have spelled doom for President Trump was more like a light drizzle.

Nancy Pelosi bragged about her victory, but now she’s in a tight spot.

Democrats are in a difficult position, with a slight lead in the House and outnumbered in the Senate and White House.

And now there is a bigger problem for Democrats looming in 2020: they are in big-time debt.

The Democrats’ congressional fundraising arm spent an unusually large amount of money on races in the 2018 elections, raising $272 million and spending $100,000 in more than 85 districts…

The Democrats were desperate to win in 2018.

It was hardly a blowout, yet they burned through cash like a drunk prom date.

Doesn’t bode well for future elections, does it?

They lost key races in the Senate and across governorships. Democrats were counting on big wins in Florida, Georgia, and Texas. And they spent millions to see that happen.

And… they failed.

Do they expect their big donors to tolerate these kinds of losses every year? Will liberal voters want to keep shelling out cash for a tired, losing party?

I doubt they can spend that much cash every election year, and they’re starting in the hole with dozens of Democrats thinking about running.

The next two years will be key for Democrats. They have to work with Trump to get anything done.

But, chances are, they will continue to obstruct, to keep up appearances in the liberal media.

Will their supporters be happy to dish out the cash after two more years of nothing? I doubt it.

And they’ll still be paying off that $18 million debt until 2020. Just when they need to be in the clear to mount a campaign against Trump.

Things aren’t looking too good for them. Who knows? Maybe 2020 is the year Trump finally puts Democrats out to pasture where they belong.
