Over the past few weeks, there has been a spike in crime in New York City’s iconic Central Park. Now, the disturbing truth behind this increase in criminal activity has been revealed.

The NYPD has shockingly revealed that migrants as young as 11 are behind the recent Central Park robberies. The situation has become so dire that the NYPD has had to respond by bolstering patrols in Central Park.

This is sadly what happens when a super liberal city like New York is overrun with migrants. New York’s Democrat leaders have long been prioritizing bringing in illegal aliens over keeping their own citizens safe. Now, New Yorkers are paying for that in a big way.

Police have linked around 10 robberies that have taken place inside or along the southern end of the park to a group of up to 12 migrant boys or young men, the NYPD said at a press conference on Wednesday in front of the green space where law enforcement announced dozens of police officers would be deployed to the tourist hotspot to counter the alarming rise.

“At this point in time, we’re ready to call it, this is a migrant robbery pattern,” NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell told reporters from in front of the park at Seventh Avenue and West 59th Street. “We think they’re responsible for most of them if not all of them.”

Crime Spike By The Numbers – NYPD Responds

NYPD data does indeed show that crime is way up in Central Park from where it was at this time last year. Robberies are up a whooping 200%. Meanwhile, felony assaults have increased by about 43%, and major crimes are up by 46%.
