Sanctuary states will think twice after they hear about this.

Things are looking pretty bad for the current New York Governor.

Although the incumbent, he faces a tough primary against a far-left candidate.

Former actress and liberal activist, Cynthia Nixon, is trying to steal the Democratic nomination. And as a celebrity, she is getting plenty of press.

Not to be outdone, Andrew Cuomo is running his entire campaign on an anti-Trump platform. A common liberal tactic.

The sanctuary-loving governor recently slammed ICE, the sole agency dedicated to protecting Americans from criminal aliens.

The outrageous attack not only angered many Americans, it also brought a strong rebuke from former ICE boss Homan.

“The New York gubernatorial primary race between incumbent Andrew Cuomo and challenger Cynthia Nixon has seen the two Democrats battling over which of them has the most hatred for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency…

The governor proudly said his state ‘will not cooperate with ICE, they’re a bunch of thugs.’

Homan, appearing on “Fox & Friends,” said the governor’s words were ‘disgusting.‘

‘Actually, ICE arrests ‘thugs’ — MS-13 members, gang members, drug traffickers.

We arrested over 5,000 criminal aliens off the street in New York (and) many walked out of his sanctuary jails.’”

I recently traveled to New York, and I can tell you Cuomo’s entire campaign is built around attacking Donald Trump.

Every ad from him and his allies takes a dig at the one man making America great. The desperate Democrat needs illegal alien votes in order to sink his competitors.

So it comes as no surprise that he’d insult the brave men and women of ICE, right? And yet , these are the same people who risk their lives to keep New York safe.

When Cuomo and the millions of New Yorkers sleep soundly at night, it’s because ICE is rounding up thousands of criminal thugs.

New York enjoys whatever serenity it has, thanks to ICE and other law enforcement officers. For Cuomo to call them thugs is vile and un-American.

But what else should we expect? This is the same leftist who said “America was never great,” remember?

People like Cuomo need to shut up and get out of the way, so people like Donald Trump can fix this country!
