Minutes After Supreme Court Rules Against Texas – Gov. Abbott Shocks D.C. with Defiant Power Move

Recently, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Biden administration. The court decided the federal government could remove razor wire installed by Texas. The wire has been used to prevent illegal aliens from flooding the country.

The decision was met with shock and anger by many Americans. Under Joe Biden, nearly 6 million migrants have overwhelmed U.S. communities.

Soon after the ruling came out, Gov. Abbott vowed he wasn’t done fighting. He said he will continue to fight to protect Texas from the border crisis. And, in a move defying the court and Biden, he’s done this.

From The Post Millennial:
Texas National Guard soldiers were seen preparing for the installation of more razor wire along the southern border in Eagle Pass, coming after the Supreme Court ruled on Monday that Biden’s Border Patrol was allowed to remove the border protection…

Sharing a photo of the border, Texas Governor Greg Abbott wrote on Tuesday, “The Texas National Guard continues to hold the line in Eagle Pass. Texas will not back down from our efforts to secure the border in Biden’s absence.”

Texas National Guard was seen installing more razer wire in Eagle Pass, TX. This was shortly after the Supreme Court allowed the Biden administration to remove the wire. Gov. Abbott said the state would not “back down” to prevent migrants from illegally entering the state.

Eagle Pass has been hard hit by the border crisis. The small community has been overrun by hundreds of thousands of migrants.

Texas has gone to great lengths to discourage illegal immigration, in the absence of action from the federal government. The state has erected barriers, including razor wire. It has deployed National guardsmen. The governor has even passed a law making it a state crime to enter the country illegally.

Meanwhile, Biden’s DHS and Border Patrol have not been deterring illegal entry. In fact, these agencies have been tasked with processing aliens and releasing them into the country. President Biden appears to be all but encouraging illegal immigration, even as Americans demand an end to the crisis.

It’s unclear how the Biden administration will respond to Texas’s actions. But tensions are certainly growing—and anything might happen now.

Key Takeaways:

  • Texas National Guard continues to erect razor wire along the border, despite the SCOTUS decision.
  • The Supreme Court ruled that the Biden administration can cut down wire meant to protect the border.
  • Texas has battled the federal government over the border crisis; President Biden appears unwilling to secure the Southern border.
