“He can send us the document, we have a right to look at that… They are not above the law.”

Whoa. The Speaker of the House warned FBI Director Christopher Wray that if he doesn’t provide this document, he will hold him in contempt of Congress. McCarthy said that the FBI is not above the law. When Congress subpoenas someone for testimony or evidence, they have to comply.

House Republicans can even take this to court, requiring Wray and other FBI officials to comply.

But it seems pretty clear that the FBI is going out of its way to protect Joe Biden and his family. They’ve known for years about Hunter Biden’s antics but did nothing. Even in 2020, the FBI knew about the evidence on Hunter’s laptop. But they refused to investigate, admitting it could hurt Joe’s chances during the election.

Why would an FBI this corrupt willingly hand over a document that could take down Biden and his family?

Especially now, with Democrats gearing up to help Joe win re-election next year?

We call these folks the “deep state” for a reason. These powerful, unelected officials within the DOJ and other agencies don’t seem too keen on things like democracy and freedom. They have often been accused of abusing their power to help their political allies.

Coming clean with this document will be the last thing Wray is going to do. And McCarthy will have to do something even stronger than a contempt charge.
