Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has long been one of the biggest embarrassments in Congress.

For years, the 85-year-old has repeatedly made a fool of herself. Whether she’s ranting nonsensically against Republicans or speaking unintelligibly about who knows what, Waters continues to show the world that literally anybody can be in Congress, regardless of how ignorant they are.

During an interview with CNN earlier this week, Waters humiliated herself once again when she had a hair malfunction on live TV. As she was asked about President Joe Biden’s mental capabilities, Waters could be seen constantly adjusting her hair.

The comments on the viral piece of footage are nothing short of hilarious.

“That wig about came off,” one social media user commented. Another added, “Maxine “Mop-Head” Waters.”

“Maxine Waters tried to pull off a KJP impersonation but fails miserably,” a third user commented.

This was a reference to Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who also has some unruly locks.

Others had a more serious take on the video.

“And she makes decisions on behave of the American people lol, seriously !!!!!” one person commented. “We the people better start taking elections seriously and get and stay involved in our elections as to who we are in fact voting for , you agree ?”

“The most comedic government I’ve ever seen,” another user said.

The video would be even more hilarious if not for the sobering reality of how much power Waters holds as a congresswoman.

Like many other liberal lawmakers, Waters has made a career off of the left’s hopelessly incurable Trump derangement syndrome. Indeed, she recently responded to Biden’s horrific performance in last month’s presidential debate by doing what she loves most: attacking Donald Trump.

“He should have done better in the debate, but hell, he’s already starting to do better,” she said. “Did you see the latest interview? And he gets stronger, and he’s going to do better every day.”

She also addressed concerns over Biden’s age, noting that she is older than the 81-year-old president and calling Trump a “no-good, deplorable, lying despicable human being.”

“Do we have to talk about the difference between these two? There ain’t gonna be no other Democratic candidate. It’s going to be Biden, and you better know it,” she said.

And you better learn some grammar, Maxine.

Waters is living proof that there should be term limits in Congress. She’s also the embodiment of why politicians of advanced ages should be given cognitive tests, because it’s hard to believe that she would be able to pass anything of the sort.

In the end, the viral clip of Waters desperately trying to fix her hair on live TV perfectly sums her up. She looks like a fool, and that’s exactly what she is.
