We recently learned that Biden’s $320 million floating pier in Gaza was destroyed by water. The Pentagon is scrambling to recover the pieces. It will probably spend even more money repairing the ill-conceived boondoggle.
But this is hardly the first time Joe Biden threw away tax dollars on poorly-planned foreign moves.
After only being in office for just four years, Biden has proven he is great… as wasting American money. As Americans struggle to put gas in their cars and food on the table, Joe is flushing our money down the toilet. Here is just a glimpse of what he is doing.
From Just the News:
The broken $320 million pier off the coast of Gaza is just the latest in a series of costly U.S. military and humanitarian aid mishaps under the Biden administration…Using the 2016 cost of a ton of air delivery, as well as the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Inflation Calculator, it appears that the airdrops into Gaza could cost the U.S. more than $17.7 million…
Niger – Leaving a $110 million U.S. base after less than a decade…
Since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Congress has passed five supplemental appropriations bills totaling nearly $175 billion…
When the U.S. withdrew from Afghanistan in August 2021, it left around an estimated $90 billion worth of equipment in the Taliban-controlled country.
Biden spent $320 million on a floating pier that broke. He also spent around $17.7 million on airdrops of supplies to Gaza. There is no indication who ended up with those supplies, given that civilians have fled much of the region.
Biden pulled U.S. troops from a base in Niger which cost $110 million to build. Troops at the base had been neglected by Biden, lacking drinking water and medicine. Biden is scrambling to pull our troops, just as Russia, Iran, and China begin infiltrating the terror-swarming country.
And let’s not forget about Ukraine. In just three years, Biden has spent $175 billion on a war between that country and Russia. Biden continues to demand more money for Zelensky’s war, without any indication that a peace plan is being formed.
All that is added to the $90 billion of equipment Biden abandoned in Afghanistan, which ended up in the hands of the Taliban. Biden said he was going to “build back better”… he just didn’t bother to say where. I guess he meant everywhere but the United States.
Key Takeaways:
- The Biden administration has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on failed overseas projects.
- The latest has been the $320 million Gaza pier, which broke apart.
- Biden has spent over $175 billion in Ukraine, as well as hundreds of millions in other country.
