Kamala Blasts Trump For Military Ceremony, Then J.D. Vance Nails Her With 5 Brutal Words

Former President Donald Trump recently attended a solemn ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery to honor the 13 American servicemembers who lost their lives in the tragic August 26, 2021, bombing in Kabul during the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. The wreath-laying ceremony was a poignant tribute to the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.

However, the visit didn’t sit well with everyone. The liberal media was quick to criticize Trump, accusing him of politicizing the event.

These accusations, however, didn’t go unchallenged. Enter liberal outlets took a swipe at Trump for his attendance at the ceremony. They suggested that Trump’s presence at the event was more about gaining political points than genuine respect for the fallen. They never talk about how Democrats do that all the time! JD Vance didn’t appreciate what the left said. And he turned his sights on their favorite dummy: Kamala Harris.

From Daily Caller:
Republican Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio called out Vice President Kamala Harris during a Wednesday campaign speech amid attacks on former President Donald Trump after he attended a ceremony honoring 13 fallen American servicemembers…

“Kamala Harris is disgraceful,” Vance continued. “We’re going to talk about a story out of those 13 brave, innocent Americans who lost their lives, it’s that Kamala Harris is so asleep at the wheel that she won’t even do an investigation into what happened, and she wants to yell at Donald Trump because he showed up. She can go to hell.”

Republican Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio didn’t mince words in defending Trump and lambasting Harris. During a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Vance, a former Marine who served in Iraq, directed his outrage at Harris, accusing her of failing to do her job in the lead-up to the Kabul attack. “The other thing our veterans care a lot more about is that three years ago, 13 brave, innocent Americans died. And they died because Kamala Harris refused to do her job. And there hasn’t been a single investigation or a single firing,” Vance stated.

Vance’s criticism didn’t stop there. He went on to call out Harris’s lack of accountability in the wake of the tragic loss. “Look, sometimes mistakes happen. That’s just the nature of government, the nature of military service. But to have those 13 Americans lose their lives and not fire a single person is disgraceful,” he continued, his voice tinged with frustration. He didn’t hold back in his condemnation of Harris, declaring, “Kamala Harris is disgraceful. We’re going to talk about the story of those 13 brave, innocent Americans who lost their lives. It’s that Kamala Harris is so asleep at the wheel that she won’t even do an investigation into what happened, and she wants to yell at Donald Trump because he showed up. She can go to hell.”

The families of the fallen servicemembers have been vocal in their criticism of the Biden administration, expressing deep dissatisfaction with how the withdrawal from Afghanistan was handled. They have also criticized President Joe Biden for his behavior during the arrival of the fallen at Dover Air Force Base and for inaccurately claiming that no American troops died during his administration.

Despite the outcry, neither Biden nor Harris attended the ceremony at Arlington on Monday. Instead, both released statements, which many saw as a hollow gesture in light of the magnitude of the tragedy. For Trump, his attendance was a way to honor the fallen, but for Harris, it became an opportunity to criticize rather than to reflect on her administration’s failures.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump attended a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery to honor 13 fallen servicemembers, drawing criticism from Kamala Harris.
  • Senator J.D. Vance slammed Harris for not investigating the Kabul bombing and accused her of failing to do her job.
  • The families of the fallen have criticized the Biden administration’s handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal and their absence at the Arlington ceremony.
