Not that long ago, Biden made waves by trying to end Title 42. This rule was put in place by President Trump at the start of the pandemic. It allows DHS and Border Patrol to quickly deport illegal immigrants, to prevent the spread of the virus. Yet Biden tried to end this policy, saying it was no longer needed.
He also went on record to say the pandemic was over. We rarely see him or any other public official wearing masks. Most, if not all, restrictions have long been dropped. In truth, it’s been three years since this nightmare started. Ask anyone, and they’ll say we’ve moved on.
So, why did Biden just do this?

Biden declared that “the pandemic is over” during an interview on 60 Minutes in September, saying, “we still have a problem with Covid. We’re still doing a lotta work on it. It’s—but the pandemic is over.”
What the heck is going on? Biden said back in September 2022 that the pandemic was “over.” Yet he vetoed a move by the Senate to end the emergency declaration. That measure received strong support from both Democrats and Republicans, with a 62-36 vote.
Biden wants to remove Title 42, so even more illegals flood the country because he said the emergency is over. So, why is he now extending the “public health emergency determination”? Because, for one thing, it allows him to make moves that would otherwise require congressional approval.
It gives him access to all kinds of money, that he can spend with almost zero accountability. Plenty of “COVID dollar” have gone to environmental causes and other liberal pet projects. Biden has even used COVID money to ship illegals all across America. What does that have to do with the pandemic?
Also, by keeping the pandemic “emergency” alive, Biden can keep using COVID as an excuse for his administration’s failures. Oh, the economy isn’t doing great? COVID. Supply chain down? COVID. Eggs costing an arm and a leg? You guessed it, COVID.
We’ve long seen corrupt politicians exploit the pandemic to expand their power and rob taxpayers blind. But most states have rolled back emergency powers for their governors. Why does Biden keep pushing for this?
