Joe Biden says he’s running for re-election, but he’s going to have a hard time of it. It is very likely he’ll be running against Donald Trump–a man who has already served as president and will hold nothing back. Biden, on the other hand, will have to defend a presidency mired in scandal, failure, and endless crises.
Which crisis will ultimately sink Joe? Wow, there are so many to choose from! But one major problem just isn’t going away, despite how hard Biden is trying to ignore it. And now, his own Federal Reserve is putting the knife in his back.
From Just the News:
Federal Reserve economists project that the recent bank collapses will create a “mild recession” later this year, posing potential problems for President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
Okay, so let’s just get one thing straight. There is no such thing as a “mild recession.” A recession is a recession. That’s like saying you have a “minor” case of colon cancer. According to the Fed, the country will experience this recession at the end of this year, claiming the recovery will happen over the “next two years.”
We might assume that the Fed, whose leader is appointed by Biden, is trying to soften the blow. They’ve been wrong about their predictions in the past. The Fed ignored inflation, saying it was just transitory. Later, they admitted it was real but not so bad. Then, they scrambled to jack up interest rates to combat it.
Now, they are saying it will be a “mild recession” with “recovery” over the next two years. Chances are, it will be a much worse recession and the recovery won’t happen for a few years.
Regardless, this is very bad news for Joe, who wants to stay in the White House. This recession will hit just as the election season heats up. It might even spoil Joe’s primary chances, as the worst of this recession will be happening during primary season.
The Republican candidate will have ample ammunition against Biden, who Americans will blame for this recession. A bad recession can lead to lost jobs, lost retirements, and an overall declining economy. Heck, we’ve been seeing that for two years! And they’re saying it’s going to get worse?
Joe should just throw in the towel now. Admit he’s a failure and hand the presidency to a Republican.
- The Federal Reserve predicted a “mild recession” starting later this year.
- The Fed claims the recession will recover over the next two years.
- This comes as the Fed ignored the warning signs of rampant inflation.
