Joe Biden wasn’t the only member of his family to embrace himself on the night of the State of the Union. Jill Biden stunned–and disgusted–many Americans with an inappropriate kiss with Kamala Harris’s husband. That picture unfortunately went viral, forcing us all to see the unpleasant moment.
You might have just assumed that Jill was a bit out of her sense to do that. Maybe, she had a few too many to drink during the festivities before the event. Actually, no she didn’t. A video just came out featuring the first lady greeting guests at a SOTU party. And when she finds out there is no alcohol, she gets pretty miffed.

Uh… yikes. We all knew Jill Biden was far from the classy, respectable image of a real first lady. She can’t hold a candle to Laura Bush or Melania Trump. But we at least expected her to show a little restraint when there are cameras rolling.
But Joe Biden’s wife couldn’t contain herself when she realized that there was no alcohol at the supposedly prestigious event. Eh, Jill? Do we need to hold an intervention? The woman seems to be playing it off as humor.
Yet you can’t miss the true disappointment, even anger, from her reaction. My goodness, we didn’t know someone’s voice to get that pitchy! It’s even sadder when you realize she sees all the cameras pointed at her.
We all know why there was no alcohol. Government functions are notorious for pinching pennies, at least for the interns. Had real politicians been at the event, there would have been a river of booze.
But I guess that’s what you get when you sell out to serve a crooked administration. You work long hours. Get paid jack squat. Suffer all the blame when things don’t go right. And, to top it all off, you don’t even get to drown your sorrows with a little bit of wine.
