California is in open revolt against the President, but ‘The Donald’ put them in their place.

In the battle to make America great again, one enemy looms larger than any other: California Democrats.

The land of Dianne Feinstein and Jerry Brown.

Since Trump entered office, California’s super-liberal lawmakers have done everything to undermine him.

They turned CA into a sanctuary state, they’ve neglected needed infrastructure, they’ve given benefits to illegals, and they’re letting more and more non-citizens vote.

The fallout has been devastating for any hard-working citizens of the state.

Now Gov. Jerry Brown has passed yet another terrible law. But the White House is fighting back.

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed the nation’s toughest net neutrality measure Sunday, requiring internet providers to maintain a level playing field online. The move prompted an immediate lawsuit by the Trump administration…

“Once again the California Legislature has enacted an extreme and illegal state law attempting to frustrate federal policy,” U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement.

The law is the latest example of the nation’s most populous state seeking to drive public policy outside its borders and rebuff President Donald Trump’s agenda.

On the surface, Net Neutrality sounds like a good idea: prevent companies from overcharging for access. Ban them from prioritizing one site over another.

But there is a reason Trump’s FCC reversed those rules.

It created a backdoor through which the government could regulate and control the Internet.

Like all government regulation, it had unforeseen consequences. It gave the federal government far too much say in how private businesses could conduct their work.

It also put a massive burden on smaller companies, who were unable to compete with the bigger services.

Heavy regulation drove them out of business, thus giving larger companies (like Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon) what they really wanted: less competition.

With fewer competitors, they could drive prices for Internet access through the roof. Thus, the very problem Net Neutrality was created to prevent happened anyway.

California doesn’t understand this, because its leaders are being driven crazy by Trump Derangement Syndrome. They are determined to drive California into the ground, just to spite the president and his many supporters.

Brown and his goons are going to lose in a big way.  Jeff Sessions will challenge this law in court. Federal authority is being undermined by a state law. CA’s new Net Neutrality law will get struck down fast.

That will set a precedent that will prevent California—or any liberal state—from passing similar laws.
