Most people condemned Omar’s comments… he’s supporting her, and he’s Jewish!

We all know why Ilhan Omar was elected, don’t we?

She’s a minority woman, and she’s of the Muslim faith. So to elect her is considered both tolerant and progressive.

However, we’re starting to figure out that she isn’t quite so tolerant as we thought.

As it turns out, Omar has a big problem with Israel, as her previous offensive comments revealed.

Republicans and even most Democrats – including Speaker Nancy Pelosi – condemned those comments.

…except one top Democrat was actually dumb enough to stand up fo Omar.

“Sen. Bernie Sanders, who was born Jewish but who has attacked Israel for years, called anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) on Tuesday to offer his support…

…reportedly saying, ‘We will stand by our Muslim brothers and sisters.’

Omar’s office confirmed that the congresswoman spoke with Sanders—who is Jewish—but the conversation was off-record and so they could not go into further details about the contents of the discussion.”

You might be surprised to see Sanders, a Jewish man, standing up for a woman who hates Jews and Israel.

But Sanders is hardly loyal to his own; he has often slammed Israel, the only Jewish state in the world and only true democracy in the Middle East.

You’d think a progressive like Sanders would love Israel, but here’s the problem:

Israel represents a threat to his Socialist anti-freedom agenda.

With that in mind, it makes sense that he would “stand” by a group who–worldwide–wants to destroy the Jews.

Sanders doesn’t respect Israel, the Jewish people, or the millions of Americans who do. Instead, he would ally with a group that is historically an enemy of Israel.

Why else would he defend Omar, after so many other Democrats condemned her statements?
