Most Americans have noticed how Democrats, in recent years, have gone off the rails. It seems they are no longer interested in just “equality” and helping minorities. The party has embraced a far-left agenda that many people have dubbed “woke.”
These woke Democrats are parading around socialist and Marxist views, pretending they are good for the country. That is why they push pro-trans messages in kindergarten and why states are considering reparations for slavery… for people who never were slaves.
One Republican in the House has said enough is enough. And he’s taking a big step to stop the woke leftists in their tracks.
From Washington Examiner:
Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) is preparing to launch by the end of the month a caucus that pushes back on the “woke” policy stances of the far Left…
“This utterly un-American doctrine would be comical were it not so powerful,” he wrote. “And it is powerful because it is enforced not only by every major national institution. It is promoted and funded by the federal government itself.”
Woah. Jim Banks is preparing to create his own caucus for the House that will battle the “woke” policies being embraced by Democrats. Woke ideas have been pushed by everyone from Joe Biden to Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson (who refused to define the word “woman”).
This caucus will start out meeting to discuss strategies on how to combat the woke cancer. Banks will develop plans to prevent the radical left from government overreach into the private and public sectors.
One of the top strategies in pushing woke ideas is by forcing private companies to embrace it. Social media “celebrates” woke nonsense. Movies and television promote it through their content. Even banks and investment firms are being forced to support it through ESG.
An “anti-woke” caucus will be able to confront woke ideas through legislation. Much like what Florida is doing under Gov. DeSantis, Republicans can prevent woke ideas from being forced onto Americans through passed bills.
It will take time for such a group to have an impact, with a man like Biden in the White House. But they can find ways of influencing Americans from coast to coast. This caucus can partner with other groups to educate Americans on the danger of far-left ideas. While promoting traditional American values and views.
- House Republican Jim Banks is forming an “anti-woke” caucus.
- The group will strategize to push back against far-left ideology.
- Democrats have embraced woke ideas at the local, state, and federal levels.
