Liberal Hollywood Star Arrested In Washington Swamp – She Asked For It

Stop the presses: An outspoken liberal comedian finally did something funny!

In their endless quest to remain relevant. celebrities and wanna-be celebrities alike have been attempting to latch on to the Kavanaugh controversy.

They are loudly proclaiming their unconditional support for Christine Blasey Ford, despite the fact that there is no evidence to support her story.

But that hasn’t stopped celebrities like Alyssa Milano and Matt Damon from getting a few moments in the spotlight by grandstanding for the liberals.

Now another celebrity is trying to cash in on the crazy protests happening in D.C., and in doing so she got exactly what she wanted.

From The Daily Caller:

Approximately 300 protesters gathered together in a large atrium and chanted anti-Kavanaugh slogans at one another. There were two well-known celebrities that joined them.

Comedian Amy Schumer and model Emily Ratajkowski were among them. A massive banner was unfurled from a balcony that read “We Believe Christine Basley Ford” as dozens of Capitol Police moved into the crowd.

Here’s where it gets interesting.

The police began politely asking the protesters if they wished to get arrested. The protesters had time to confer with one another and think about it. The officers were patient, but eventually separated the protesters who wished to be arrested from the ones who did not. During this calm separation process by the police, this reporter witnessed Schumer and Ratajkowski verbally ask to be arrested. Here is video of this happening:

As the witness to these arrests predicted, Schumer and Ratajkowski’s are already attempting to score sympathy points for their publicity stunt.

Virtually unknown “model” Emily Ratajkowski tweeted her outrage at being arrested, even though she and Schumer specifically asked to be.

What’s interesting about Ratajkowski is the fact that her largest claim to fame is her topless performance in the controversial “Blurred Lines” music video.

Many feminists objected to this song and the accompanying video because it appeared to justify rape against women.

Amy Schumer’s feminist credentials are also in question as of late, due to her new movie “I Feel Pretty”.

In the film, Schumer’s character feels ugly, but then she suffers a head injury and thinks she’s a model, and finally feels happy with herself.

Feminists are livid that a perfectly average white woman like Schumer is “implying that the only way women could feel happy about themselves is after they suffer a head injury that makes them ‘feel pretty’.”

It’s always fun when liberals eat their own, isn’t it?

But these women are now attempting to be the voices of the feminist movement, despite the fact that many feminists see them as part of the problem.

The truth is that Schumer, Ratajkowski, these protesters, and even Christine Blasey Ford are all just desperate for attention. And the liberal media is more than happy to give it to them.

For all of their dramatics and whining, Schumer and Ratajkowski were simply charged with unlawfully demonstrating and then immediately released.

The two never even left the building they were demonstrating in, and all they have to do to get their charges dropped is pay a $50 ticket.

And since Schumer is cousins with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, she may not even need to pay a fine.

Maybe if we imposed harsher punishments against these insane demonstrations, they would stop happening.

Do you think protesters like Schumer should face more severe consequences? Let us know in the comments below.
