Harley-Davidson Goes Anti-Woke in Major Statement, Shuts Down Company’s DEI

Over the past few years, various companies have learned the hard way that the phrase “go woke, go broke” is very real indeed. Now, yet another major company is backtracking big time after going woke and then paying the price.

The motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson is making some big changes to its diversity and inclusion policies after receiving backlash from bikers. On Monday, the company issued a statement clarifying its stance on diversity and inclusion as well as its ongoing commitment to its community.

After receiving backlash for a statement about diversity and inclusion that it posted to social media earlier this year, Harley-Davidson conducted a comprehensive internal review. The goal of this was to ensure that the company’s activities were in line with the needs of both its business and its diverse community.

From The Daily Caller:
As a result of this review, the company made significant changes, particularly concerning its approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Harley-Davidson announced it discontinued its DEI function as of April 2024 and no longer operates under DEI guidelines. The company also clarified that it does not enforce hiring quotas or supplier diversity spend goals.

However, Harley-Davidson remains committed to building an employee base that reflects the diversity of its customers and the regions where it operates, believing such diversity is vital to the company’s success.

Boom!

Woke DEI initiatives have sadly taken over many businesses in Joe Biden’s America. Companies are now more concerned about being woke than they are about making money, and the American economy has suffered greatly because of this.

Harley-Davidson Doubles Down

Unlike many other companies, however, Harley-Davidson isn’t afraid to change directions and go the anti-woke route, just to turn things around.

More from Daily Caller:
The company’s renewed focus will be on growing the sport of motorcycling, supporting its loyal riding community and continuing its long-standing tradition of backing first responders, active military members, and veterans. In line with these changes, Harley-Davidson announced it will no longer participate in the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) scoring system, signaling a shift in how it engages with external organizations.

Furthermore, Harley-Davidson addressed concerns regarding its employee training programs. The company reiterated only legally required training has ever been mandatory for its employees and future training initiatives will be strictly business-focused, free from socially motivated content.

A motorcycle company actually focusing on the sport of motorcycling and supporting its biker customers, rather than prioritizing diversity and inclusion? Go figure!

It’s sad that we live in a time when something like the above statement is considered to be unusual, but here we are. Welcome to Biden’s America, folks.

The woke leftwing machine has made race an obsession in the United States. Leftists have become so focused on race that they’ve become the true racists. In their ridiculous quest to end racism, they’ve become the very thing that they claim to be fighting against.

We applaud the bikers who have made Harley-Davidson a success for decades for letting it be known that they will not tolerate woke DEI initiatives. We also applaud the Harley-Davidson executives who had the guts to admit their mistake and go full anti-woke in the process. If only more companies would do the same!

Key Takeaways:

  • Harley-Davidson goes anti-woke.
  • Harley-Davidson had received backlash for woke DEI initiatives.
  • The left’s obsession with DEI has gone way too far.
