You might not have heard much from Greta Thunberg lately. But you surely remember her.

As a young child, she scolded the world’s leaders for “climate change.” Her angry demeanor and lecturing tone won her many critics and enemies around the world.

In recent years, however, she has appeared to show her true colors. Not as simply an “eco-warrior,” but a tried-and-true social Marxist. Complete with participating in a pro-Palestinian rally, where she chanted this.

“Crush Zionism” is an explicit call to destroy Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state and is considered to be extremely anti-Semitic.

Greta Thunberg was recently criticized for expressing support for anti-Israel groups. But she took a further step when she chanted “Crush Zionism” during a pro-Palestinian rally in Sweden. “Zionism” is a term used to refer to the movement to protect and expand the nation of Israel.

To say you want to “crush” Zionism is a call to eradicate the Jewish state, wiping it from their ancestral homeland. Such a call is anti-Israel and largely considered anti-Semitic by most Jews and Israelis.

Thunberg faced backlash for chanting this. Ben Shapiro called her an “immoral garbage pseudo-child.” Another critic said, “Greta Thunberg is Hitler Youth.” International human rights lawyer Hillel Neuer posted, “Now for sure the U.N. will invite her back,” a reference to the UN’s shocking anti-Israel position.

Progressives around the world, including in the U.S., have sided with Palestinians and seemingly Hamas in the current conflict. They have condemned Israel’s actions against Hamas, after the October 7th attack.

It appears progressive Marxists share Palestinians’ overall hatred for Western, Judeo-Christian values. They appear to be supporting a terror group because progressives lump Israel in with America, Western beliefs in democracy, and capitalism.

But this movement against Israel has sparked a civil war among Democrats. Not all Democrats agree with progressive’s hatred for Israel and the conflict is poised to tear the party apart.
