The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Biden administration over the border crisis. It seemingly sided with illegal migrants, by saying Biden could remove barriers put up by Texas. That set off a firestorm of anger from Republican governors.
Many of them have vowed to help Texas and Gov. Abbott in the fight to defend the U.S. border from invasion.
As more attention is turning to this 3-year crisis, Republican governors are offering resources and troops to protect the border. And a group of them descended on the border to see it for themselves. And they roasted the Biden administration with this damning assessment.
From Daily Wire:
Thirteen governors joined Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott at the southern border in Eagle Pass on Sunday to show support for his ongoing feud with the Biden administration over the border crisis, and see for themselves how Texas has stepped up where the federal government has failed.
“Governor Abbott has been stepping up where the federal government is dropping their duty,” Gov. Sarah Sanders of Arkansas told The Daily Wire after a briefing at the border. “So states are coming together, working together, to help do the job of the federal government.”
Thirteen Republican governors visited the border to support Gov. Abbott’s fight to end the crisis. Gov. Sarah Sanders blasted the Biden administration saying Abbott is doing the “job of the federal government.”
Since Biden entered office, DHS and Border Patrol have been prevented from securing the border from illegal aliens. These agencies are instead processing millions of migrants and sending them into the country.
Gov. Abbott has declared the crisis an invasion and has been using the Texas National Guard to erect barriers like razor wire to deter aliens. It appears the fight between Republican governors and President Biden is only getting more intense.
Over the same weekend, a convoy of truckers reached the border to also raise awareness about the crisis.
From Daily Wire:
Hundreds of concerned Americans from around the country met on the Texas border as part of the “Take Our Border Back” convoy to rally in support of securing the United States’ southern border.
The Take Back Our Borders Convoy is rolling into Quemado, Texas, the border town where attendees will be rallying in support of securing our border.
