He thought he was winning his red state, but the FBI caught him in the act.
In Florida, a gun-grabbing socialist has pulled ahead for governor, causing many Florida Republicans to early vote.
The Democrat would be a disaster for the state of Florida, just as he was a disaster as the mayor of Tallahassee.
Andrew Gillum wants to add a 5% state income tax in Florida, which would wreck the state’s economy and destroy its property values.
And he is having lots of outside help from his fellow corrupt Democrats, with Hillary Clinton raising millions for him with two South Florida fundraisers for Gillum in South Florida.
But his October surprise just hit him hard, and newly released text messages may ruin his chances to be Florida’s governor.

Undercover FBI agents paid for Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum’s hotel room and his ticket to the Broadway musical Hamilton during a 2016 trip to New York City, according to a bombshell trove of records that raises new questions two weeks before the Nov. 6 election for Florida governor.
Among the records released Tuesday: photos, a video and dozens of text messages between Gillum, who is the Democratic nominee for governor, former lobbyist Adam Corey and an undercover FBI agent. They appear to contradict Gillum’s explanation for the expenses, which have been made an major issue by his Republican rival, Ron DeSantis.
Gillum is of course attempting to downplay this report.
He is claiming that the messages exchanged between him and Corey prove his brother paid for the tickets to Hamilton.
But the text messages to him tell a very different story, and it’s now clear that Gillum was taking bribes from lobbyists.

The DeSantis’ campaign is not buying Gillum’s claims of innocence, and released a statement condemning his actions.
“Gillum has repeatedly lied about taking free gifts and trips from lobbyists. If he’ll lie about these gifts and trips from lobbyists on national television, what else is he lying about?”
Hopefully this new report helps DeSantis. Gillum is currently leading him by 6 points.
Democrats would rake Republicans over the coals over a scandal like this, but the media is predictably giving Gillum a pass.
Hopefully Florida’s voters won’t do the same.
