These days, leftists aren’t too happy with Elon Musk. After the businessman took over Twitter, he exposed how Democrats were using the platform (and others) to censor Americans. Musk’s influence over social media could shatter the left’s growing campaign against the First Amendment.

But there is another growing scheme the left seems to be feeding. An emerging technology, which is shockingly left-leaning, threatens to destroy human culture and society. The threat is so great, Musk joined with other tech giants to warn the entire country.

Elon Musk has sounded the alarm on the rate of growth of AI technology… Musk… plus over 1000 other experts in the field of AI, has signed a 600 word letter released by the non-profit Future of Life.

The open letter calls for a 6 month pause in the training of any systems more powerful than GPT-4 citing potential risks to society and humanity.

Woah. Musk has long warned America about the threat AI has. But now, he’s issuing a major warning, along with over 1000 other tech experts. And it seems Congress has been rattled enough to do something about it.

Several have indicated they would like to see some kind of regulation to rein in the fast-moving sector on the heels of a stunning warning from tech industry leaders.

Numerous lawmakers in Congress, both Republicans and Democrats, are beginning to discuss taking steps to regulate artificial intelligence. After Musk’s warning, there is more talk on Capitol Hill about doing something to ensure AI isn’t a threat to Americans.

What can AI actually do to harm us? There is no limit to how this incredibly advanced technology can interfere with and alter our lives. AI systems can control just about everything. They can also be manipulated by anyone who seeks to hurt the country.

Already, AI is destroying academia as we know it. Students use AI chatbots to do their homework, write their papers, and cheat on tests. This is so widespread it has made traditional schooling obsolete.

Not only that, but many popular AI chatbots are decidedly leftist in their statements, giving rise to concerns that Democrats could use AI to manipulate free speech in unthinkable ways.

Sadly, the career politicians in D.C. are woefully unprepared to deal with AI. These are not tech experts, but men and women who spend little time understanding modern technology. Some of them are in their 70s and 80s. How the hell are they going to properly regulate AI?

It will take the combined efforts of men like Elon Musk, to put the reins on AI, before it’s too late. But will both parties be willing to listen to him, so AI can’t undermine our entire society?
