A little over a year ago, President Donald Trump entered office with several crystal clear goals in mind.
Among those was his stated desire to drain the proverbial swamp in the nation’s capital.
While it certainly hasn’t been easy, the curtain is slowly being peeled back. Shady practices are being exposed for all to see, and Liberal leaders are panicking.
The Political Insider shares the details on the latest crushing body blow that Democrats are attempting to spin their way out of.
The controversial FISA memo has been released by the House Intelligence Committee. Crafted by the office of Rep. Devin Nunes, chairman of the Committee, the memo contains damning revelations about improper behavior by FBI officials during the 2016 presidential campaign.
President Trump hinted at what the memo would contain this morning:
The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans – something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Rank & File are great people!

It’s long been suspected that Trump has been playing against a stacked deck. The release of the memo reveals just how bad it is.
For confirmation, we need to look no further than the mass hysteria that’s currently consuming the Left.
There’s no controlling the narrative on this one. It’s bad, and the spin machine known as the mainstream media is making it even worse as they laughably contend that there’s nothing to see here.
We already knew many of the details going into this much-anticipated release. The Clinton campaign employed the firm Fusion GPS, which, in turn, employed the services of ex-British spy Christopher Steele to dig up compromising information on then-candidate Donald Trump. Steele did his job in spades, only because he was fed false information by individuals connected to the Russian government.
This information, which detailed dalliances between the Manhattan real-estate mogul and Russian prostitutes, formed the basis of the infamous “Trump dossier,” which was shopped around Washington, D.C. during the presidential campaign but no news source accepted due to its questionable nature. That is, until Buzzfeed, a site not known for journalistic integrity, published the contents.
One organization did accept the dossier and its findings, however. The FBI apparently used the dossier as a basis to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign, suspecting foreign collusion.
Business as usual in the nation’s capital is a thing of the past. Trump and company have no desire to play the reindeer games that have been holding our country back for far too long.
Democrats have painted themselves into a corner, as no one outside of the liberal echo chamber buys their nonsense anymore.
The long-term draining of the swamp will be that much easier as a result.
