Dershowitz Drops Bombshell on Trump Indictment – And It’s Causing Massive Snowflake Meltdowns

What’s Happening:

Liberal prosecutors are twisting the law more each day to take out political opponents. Charges are mounting against anyone who dares challenge the power of Democrats across the country. Leftists want every level of opposition shut down and sent to jail.

One liberal law professor said enough is enough. He is calling out leftist prosecutors who are abusing their positions to create crimes that are nothing more than free speech within the democratic process of this nation. Leftist prosecutors are even creating indictments and then using the legal system to “rubber stamp” their politically fueled attacks.

From Fox News:

On Monday a grand jury returned an indictment of Trump after a years-long criminal investigation led by state prosecutors in Georgia into his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in the state.

The indictment includes multiple Trump administration officials and is a laundry list of alleged violations including racketeering, solicitation, impersonation, conspiracy, and filing false documents to name a few. A big part of the indictments falls under the Georgia Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz called out the indictments as bogus because the alleged crimes are “the same thing” as what Al Gore did when he lost the 2000 presidential election. Dershowitz was legal counsel to Gore and said Trump’s actions were “very similar” to Gore’s legal strategy. He said prosecutors shouldn’t be able to suddenly make legal objections a crime, especially when Democrats did the same thing.

“These are political actions that the Constitution prefers us to take rather than going out on the streets and rioting,” Dershowitz said. “We’re supposed to go to court. We’re supposed to go to Congress. You can’t make those things crimes. And you can’t expand the RICO statute to now include political objections.”

Much of the indictment centers around Trump making a phone call to the Georgia secretary of state asking him to find more votes. Dershowitz said he and his team asked for the same in multiple counties in 2000.

Dershowitz publicly said the 2000 election was stolen from Gore and he wonders if prosecutors will come after him for saying so.

The professor also questioned a prosecutor posting online the indictment before the grand jury met and then saying the document was “fictitious.”

“Nobody should take the indictments at all seriously, because they announced the indictment before the grand jury even voted,” Dershowitz said. “So the grand jury is just a rubber stamp.”

The only hope Trump and his team have is that the courts will see these indictments the same as the professor and stamp the charges with a label of not only fictitious but ludicrous.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump and team face avalanche of new charges in Georgia.
  • Law professor says Trump’s actions are same as past Democrats.
  • Dershowitz says no one should take the latest indictments seriously.
