With Trump’s decisive victory in Iowa, Democrats are very nervous. It is likely they didn’t expect him to win, given his many criminal lawsuits. But the polls seem to be panning out—and Trump could sail through the primaries.
Now that Ron DeSantis is out of the race, Trump’s odds are even better. The only person who could stop Trump from getting nominated is his former staffer, Nikki Haley.

A small group of New Hampshire Democrats who registered as independents in an effort to stop former President Donald Trump from regaining the White House are planning on voting for former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley in Tuesday’s GOP Primary.In an interview with the Daily Mail, Robert Schwarz of Primary Pivot said that around 3,500 Democrats re-registered as undeclared last year so they would be eligible to vote in the GOP Primary.
In an odd move, 3,500 Democrats switched their registration as independents, so they could vote in the New Hampshire Republican primaries. It seems, in the state, it is not necessary to be registered with a party directly, to vote in its primaries.
These Democrats are planning to vote for Nikki Haley, in the hopes of preventing Trump from winning the nomination. The leader of this group, known as Primary Pivot, called Trump “a unique existential threat to our democracy.”
Parroting the talking points of other Democrats, it seems these voters believe Trump will bring about the “end” of the USA. Their plan, it seems, is to prevent him from reaching the general election, by getting Haley nominated in a party to which they do not belong.
There are obvious problems with their strategy. But, ultimately, it proves just how scared Democrats are that Donald Trump will return to the White House. If these Democrats really believed Biden was right for the job, they wouldn’t fear Trump becoming the GOP nominee
Can’t Biden beat him on his own? Not according to Primary Pivot, who will vote for Haley in the primaries—and will presumably vote against her in November, should she become the nominee.
This might smack of election meddling to many Americans. Liberals accuse Trump of being a “threat to democracy.” Yet, ironically, they can’t see how their tactics are directly undermining the very democracy they claim to be protecting.
