It seems pretty clear that when Nancy Pelosi was Speaker, she did everything in her power to protect her allies. Actually working to help the American people? Nope! Numerous House Democrats have been outed over one scandal or another. Despite these alarming reports, they faced zero consequences.
Not anymore. Kevin McCarthy is now Speaker of the House. And he moved quickly to hold these crooks accountable. McCarthy removed top Democrats from powerful committees, after numerous reports implicated them in unethical behavior and worse. And now, the left is melting down.

Reps. Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, and Ilhan Omar, who were stripped of their committee assignments by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, have accused him of “political vengeance” in a statement Tuesday evening after he again blocked their appointments…
McCarthy alleges Swalwell’s prior relationship with a suspected Chinese spy Christine Fang, Schiff’s alleged propensity for lying to Americans and Omar’s outspoken criticism of Israel would keep them off their respective committees.
To the shock of many, Pelosi refused to remove Eric Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee, even though he was in bed with a literal Chinese spy. Adam Schiff had access to top-secret information as a member of his committee. Yet he had a track record of weaponizing what he knew for partisan witch hunts.
And Ilhan Omar? She has a long history of making anti-Israel statements, in addition to voicing support for radical, Islamic groups. Yet Pelosi kept her on the Foreign Affairs Committee. What a joke.
Democrats ranted and raved after McCarthy kicked these goons off these committees. The new Democrat House leader, Hakeem Jeffries, sent a letter to McCarthy demanding he’d reconsider. McCarthy refused. These crooked politicians abused their positions of power.
Worse, they could have risked America’s national security, through their scheming and lewd behavior. It was criminal that Pelosi did nothing to hold them accountable. McCarthy is only doing what should have been done years ago.
Democrats are outraged, because this means less power and wealth for them. Being on powerful committees means they had access to information they leveraged for their own gain. Now, news outlets won’t be interested in paying them for interviews. And they can’t use what they know to help their families get rich through investments.
