Democrat Voters Send Biden a Message – A Majority of Joe’s Own Party Just Said “No” to the President for 2024

Even though President Joe Biden hasn’t officially announced a re-election campaign for 2024, recent evidence shows that announcement might be coming soon.

However, Democrat leaders may be thinking twice about their nominee. Biden’s approval rating remains relatively low and his age continues to be a stumbling block for many voters.

And now, it turns out the majority of leftist citizens don’t want Biden at all.

According to a new CNN poll, 59 percent of Democrats would rather have someone else earn the 2024 nomination. That’s a significant number as the survey centered entirely on left-wing voters.

On top of that, only about half (51 percent) say they would “definitely” vote for Biden if he were nominated. And only 28% would “probably” vote for him.

Unsurprisingly, 86 percent said they’d support Biden in the 2024 election, likely because they simply refuse to vote for the GOP nominee.

But perhaps most problematic for Democrats is this: despite the majority not wanting Biden, most can’t point to a specific option. In fact, all the alternatives received very little support.

From Breitbart:

Among those who prefer someone else to Biden, 72 percent have no specific alternative, which speaks to the Democrat Party’s dilemma of future succession.

Those mentioned as a replacement to Biden include Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg (5 percent), California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) (4 percent), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) (4 percent), Vice President Kamala Harris (3 percent), and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) (2 percent).

Currently, 70 percent of Democrats think Biden deserves a second term, while 28 percent don’t think he should get another four years (largely due to his age, likely).

It still comes down to the majority desire for a new face in the Democrat party, though.

A CNBC/All-America Economic survey showed a similar result; 57% of Democrats don’t want another Biden run. And regarding the age issue:

The survey found that 47% of those who think Biden should not run say age is a major reason, including 61% of Democrats who don’t want him on the ballot and 66% of seniors.

By contrast, just 43% of the 18-49 demographic group cite age as a major reason. Biden turned 80 last month.

Lastly, a significant majority – 58 percent of Americans – believe Biden should take a cognitive test. To date, he hasn’t taken one.

On the Republican side, most GOP voters appear to be leaning heavily toward Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, while former President Donald Trump is waning in popularity.

To date, however, only Trump has officially announced he’s definitely running 2024.

Key Takeaways:

  • A majority – 59 percent – of Democrat voters want someone other than Joe Biden for the Democrat 2024 nominee.
  • At the same time, 72 percent can’t name a good option, which could spell trouble for the party.
  • Biden’s age is clearly an issue for most voters.
