Democrats keep finding ways to ruin their election chances, but this one takes the cake.

The big headline “news” that hit over the weekend was Democrat Beto O’Rourke’s record-breaking quarterly fundraising of $38.1 million. He’s running against Ted Cruz to take his Texas Senate seat.

So Beto broke a record, great. Another record he just broke? With all that money, he’s still trailing Cruz by 9 points with only weeks to go. Looks like money doesn’t buy you happiness, Beto.

But the bigger scandal here is how Democrats are taking advantage of this interesting situation.

Hint: it’s pretty despicable.

Fundraisers of all political persuasion are hoping to capture a chunk of the unprecedented sums pouring into the Lone Star State for O’Rourke’s challenge to Republican Sen. Ted Cruz. And some are relying on shady means to do so.

Outspoken Democratic lawyer and potential 2020 presidential candidate Michael Avenatti on Thursday tweeted a link to Democratic donation platform ActBlue that appeared to be an O’Rourke donation page, but the fine print on the page noted that, by default, half of the money donated would go to Avenatti’s Fight PAC.

“It is pretty skeezy,” said Brendan Fischer, the director of federal and FEC reform programs at the Campaign Legal Center, of the fundraising tactic.

And skeeze-ball Avenatti isn’t the only one. When he was caught, he pointed the finger at other liberals like “Pocahontas” Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and leading Democrat PACs.

When we call them Washington swamp slugs, usually we mean that they’re elitists sucking off the American public, wasting our hard-earned tax dollars.

But this time they are literally parasites off each other, lying to voters to raise money for themselves off the backs of other candidates.

Unfortunately, all the money pouring into these races (wherever it’s coming from) doesn’t seem to be locking up any races for the Democrats.

And if this story of their corruption gets out, it will make things even worse. SHARE to make them pay for their corruption!

They wounded themselves so badly in the Kavanaugh fight, Republicans are energized to hold the line and Congress in just a few weeks.

Republicans are the only ones with real plans to help the country. If Democrats ran on their ideas instead of lies, they would get a big fat F in November.
