Democrats have been predicting a blue wave. They think they will retake Congress and oust our president.

Based on what? All the success Trump’s been enjoying?

It’s clear the left is delusional. In fact, fears are growing among Democrats that sitting liberals are in big trouble.

Including this one Senator who is falling far behind his Republican rival.

Incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson is getting outspent, outhustled and outshined in Florida, causing fear and anxiety within the Democratic Party that he is poised to lose to GOP challenger Gov. Rick Scott in November, Politico reports.

A Nelson loss would be the death knell to the Dems’ already slim chances of retaking the majority in the Senate.

The results: Polls that show Scott with the edge; the RealClearPolitics composite average has Scott running with a 1.5-point lead.

We are seeing this across the country. Republican voters appear energized and excited. They believe in Trump’s agenda. And they are supporting conservatives who will back the president.

The Republican Party has raised record numbers in campaign donations. They have launched aggressive initiatives across the country.

Democrats, meanwhile, push fake news, hate, and fear. They are putting illegal immigrants and violent criminals ahead of American citizens.

Bill Nelson’s troubles are being among many other liberals in D.C. These aging liberal Baby Boomers are out of touch. They have failed the country. Few people are willing to support them.

Meanwhile, the only “promising” young Democrats are extremist socialists who want to destroy our way of life.

That’s a pretty big problem.

Democrats don’t have anyone to inspire voters. Nelson thinks he’s safe because he’s the incumbent. But it’s clear Gov. Rick Scott has tremendous support and is ready to transform Florida.

Maybe Nelson will wake up from one of his naps and realize that.
