The moment everyone will remember when Republicans win in November.
Leave it to Democrats to set an example: horrible behavior behind the wheel.
A long time ago, Sen. Ted Kennedy disgraced the nation when he caused the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. Because of his reckless drunk-driving, a woman was killed.
What was worse—he left the scene of the crime!
History repeated itself when it was discovered yet another Democrat caused an accident due to drunk driving. Police and eye-witnesses made it clear he left the scene of the crime.
But uh oh! This candidate lied about it on national television. Even the Washington Post has called him out.
From The Right Scoop:
Glenn Kessler, the fact checker for the Washington Post, gave Beto O’Rourke four pinocchios after last week’s debate and he explains why:
After explaining what we all know, that a witness saw Beto try to leave and it was documented on the police report, Kessler says something that I found more interesting.
Yes, the idiot of “Pinocchio’s” is cute and all, until you realize he’s talking about a man who was drunk driving.
How many people die, due to drunk drivers a year? Tens of thousands. It’s a serious offense.
Yet Beto O’Rourke caused an accident and fled the scene. Police reported that. Witnesses reported that.
It is a matter of public record.
Yet—while trying to steal the Senate seat of Ted Cruz—Beto lied to America.
Not good, bubs, not good.
We shouldn’t be surprised. Democrats lie more than they tell the truth. Beto just assumed Texans would believe him.
He was also counting on the liberal media to back his lie.
This is the caliber of people Democrats want in the Senate.
Can Texans trust a man who committed a serious crime—and lied about it so many years later?
Democrats daily attack conservatives over made-up allegations. We are supposed to be outraged over stories that cannot be proven.
Yet it is a known fact that Beto caused a car accident while driving drunk. And he’s lying about it.
Shouldn’t we be outraged now?
This little lie will most likely be his undoing. Every good Texan must reject Beto and support Ted Cruz, a man who’s fighting for America.
