It’s no secret at this point that there’s a blatant double standard in this country when it comes to how liberal protest are treated in comparison to conservative protests. When leftists launch protests, it’s portrayed by the media as a brave expression of freedom of speech. They rarely face legal consequences even when their protests turn violent.

As the January 6 protesters have learned the hard way, however, the same thing cannot be said for conservatives. Whether their protests are peaceful or not, they are portrayed negatively by the media.

Any charges against right-wing protesters are rarely dropped. Instead, prosecutors make examples of them to send a clear message to conservatives everywhere that their protests will not be tolerated the same way that those of their liberal counterparts are.

This double standard was shown once again last week in Washington, D.C. Though radical liberals rocked the city with a massive anti-Israel riot, many of these protesters are now walking away scot-free.

The National Desk (TND) confirmed Friday that criminal charges against most anti-Israel protesters referred to the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) for Washington, D.C., this week have been dropped.

25 arrests were confirmed as made by three law enforcement agencies during violent clashes protesters had with police Wednesday. Of the 25, only 11 cases were referred to the OAG, TND confirmed.

The OAG decided not to paper, or charge, any of these 11 alleged offenders.

When it comes to protesting and rioting, it certainly pays to be a radical liberal! It seems that as long as you’re protesting in favor of the leftwing agenda, you can get away with a great many things as you riot. What a great message to send to crazed liberals all over America…NOT!

Protest Escalates To Violent Riot

It should be noted that this anti-Israel protest did indeed escalate into a violent riot. Check out the video below to see just how violent it really got.

Police charging documents and eyewitness accounts described chaotic and unrestrained interactions as law enforcement tried to restore order outside the historic train station. Rioters climbed on the center flagpole outside Union Station, pulling several American flags down and replacing them with Palestinian flags.

Protesters later cut and eventually burned the American flags. The crowd also burned an effigy of a makeshift wooden statue of Netanyahu.

Court records show that one protester even possessed a “ballistic dart launcher.” This weapon was “stainless steel forged, accurate shooting within 16 feet for hunting, camping, shooting, self-defense and survival” within his backpack.

We can only hope that this protester did not have his or her charges dropped. Given how liberal and incompetent Washington D.C. prosecutors are, however, we certainly wouldn’t be surprised if the individual is indeed facing no consequences!

Just imagine if conservative protesters of Donald Trump tried to launch any kind of protest like this one. They would certainly not see their charges dropped. Instead, officials would throw the book at them and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

Since this violent riot was carried out by radical liberals, however, the leftwing prosecutors of Washington D.C. have no interest in treating them like they did the January 6 protesters.

The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze.
