They’re calling it “the Covington incident.”
If you’ve been even remotely active online recently, you know exactly what we’re talking about.
When Covington Catholic high school students went to visit Washington D.C., there was a clash with some Native American protesters.
At first, the reports were that the students “surrounded” the Native Americans and began taunting them.
But the truth emerged when longer videos hit the internet and as it turns out, the Native American protesters – led by known agitator Nathan Phillips – were the aggressors.
And it made various members of the media look really, really bad.
Now, lawyers representing the main student in the incident have dropped a giant legal bombshell.
From Breitbart:
“Lawyers representing Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann have announced the preparation of letters to be sent to various celebrities, media outlets, and individual journalists…
…who immediately and falsely slandered Sandmann and his classmates for ‘taunting’ a Native American during a trip to Washington D.C.
The student’s lawyers are preparing letters for possible libel and defamation lawsuits, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.“
The list of recipients is absolutely massive, and it contains some giant names.
They’re going after several journalists from CNN, The New York Times, and TMZ.
But the lawyers have also targeted Democrat leader and 2020 presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren, as well as outspoken liberal performers Alyssa Milano and Jim Carrey.

That’s quite the list of big names!
Sandmann’s family attorney, Todd McMurtry, made it plain they’re not fooling around:
“They know they crossed the line. Do they want 12 people in Kentucky to decide their fate? I don’t think so.
“We want to change the conversation. We don’t want this to happen again. We want to teach people a lesson.”
McMurtry added that “there was a rush by the media” to spread false misinformation, and that this can’t happen again.
He also said that for the leftist “mob” to just rip apart a 16-year-old boy is “inexcusable.”
And of course, we agree. Who wouldn’t?
Let’s hope this really does teach the liberal haters a lesson:
STOP attacking people when you don’t even have the facts!
