Trump just scored a big victory – there’s nothing Mueller can do about it.

Mueller’s investigation is in danger of being shut down at any time, so Democrats have been fighting to protect his investigation through an act of Congress. Swing vote Jeff Flake called to bring it to a vote, but it didn’t go as planned.

Flake is truly the fly in America’s ointment, and is using this investigation as a way to grandstand.

After the President tweeted that Mueller’s Russia probe was nothing more than an “angry Mueller gang of Dems”, Flake condemned Senate Republicans for not being “up in arms”.

But millions across the country agree with the President, and know that the Russia investigation is nothing more than a leftist witch hunt.

And Senate Republicans agree too, now that they’ve dropped some justice on the Democrats.

Senate Republicans blocked a vote on a bill to protect special counsel Robert Mueller on Wednesday, despite a threat from a GOP senator to hold up judicial nominees until action is taken on the measure.

Republicans have objected on two grounds, one constitutional and the other practical, arguing the bill is unnecessary and the Senate has no time to spare in the crowded lame-duck session of Congress.

“This is a solution in search of a problem,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., told reporters Tuesday. “The president is not going to fire Robert Mueller. … We have a lot of things to do to try to finish up this year without taking votes on things that are completely irrelevant to outcomes.”

Democrats think this investigation is compromised because Jeff Sessions is out as AG, but the Left have shown time and time again that no investigation will ever satisfy them. They will settle for nothing less than Trump’s impeachment.

This fake investigation doesn’t deserve protection because it’s been corrupt from the start and was based on a lie.

Senate Republicans know that, and they will do everything in their power to stop the Left’s games.

Traitor Flake has vowed to try to set up the bill for a vote again, but it’s not likely to pass.

There’s no doubt about it. Mueller just got handed a HUGE loss.
