Clarence Thomas Case Turned Upside Down – Witness Just Unloaded Game-Changing Evidence

Recently, legendary court justice Clarence Thomas has come under scrutiny for alleged ethics violations, which involve a Texas billionaire and luxury perks.

However, Thomas has maintained his innocence from the start and now, a close friend claims to have evidence that will radically alter the course of the investigation.

It began with a ProPublica probe into Thomas, which found that he enjoyed certain advantages of a friendship with billionaire businessman Harlan Crow.

However, from the moment that story broke, Mark Paoletta has ardently defended Thomas. He’s been pushing back against Senate Democrats who claimed Thomas’ actions were a violation of court ethics laws.

And his latest update comes in several tweets, all of which might ultimately help clear Thomas of any wrongdoing (via Fox News):

A friend of Clarence Thomas says there is well-documented evidence that the Supreme Court justice did not transgress judicial ethics rules by not disclosing vacation trips with his friend Harlan Crow, a billionaire businessman and GOP donor.

Paoletta claims there’s a paper trail of receipts to prove his position, and said specifically that this issue was actually laid to rest over a decade ago.

He stated that the Judicial Conference ruling back in 2012 concluded that Thomas “acted properly in not disclosing trips.” It also said he “complied with ethics law … under hospitality exception.”

Paoletta added that on April 30, 2012, the Judicial Conference told Congress that they’d reviewed the allegations against Thomas and concluded that “nothing has been presented to support” the idea that he’d violated anything.

Thomas’ friend lastly noted that under the Ethics in Government Act, the Judicial Conference has the power to “review reports and determine compliance for the judiciary.”

Also, in response to the ProPublica investigation, Paoletta said:

You cite left wing ‘ethics experts,’ whose views are just partisan opinions, but I don’t see anything in your original article that you checked with Judicial Conference.

Senate Democrats have been after Thomas for months concerning these age-old allegations, and Paoletta is simply saying that all this had already been reviewed and dismissed.

It looks more and more like another witch hunt, which appears to be a colossal waste of time. While the country suffers from very real problems, Democrats are digging up decade-old issues that had been laid to rest.

This might be a big reason why so many citizens simply don’t trust the government’s actions these days.

Key Takeaways:

  • A friend of Clarence Thomas has come forward with evidence that could end the ethics investigation against him.
  • Mark Paoletta argues that the Judicial Conference reviewed and dismissed these same allegations over a decade ago in 2012.
  • He adds that the probe is just “partisan opinions,” and it seems they didn’t even bother to check the Judicial Conference’s decision.
