After Caravan Races for the Border – 500 Migrants Suffer the Perfect Karma

Republicans have been deeply critical of the Biden administration’s handling of the Southern border. For years, we’ve seen illegal immigration surge. Yet, when Biden entered office, he reversed policies that kept the border safe.

What has resulted is over 5 million migrants illegally entering the border. Democrats seem to be doing nothing, while Republican leaders in border states battle to protect the country.

Migrants continue to come, encouraged by claims that Democrats will roll out the red carpet for them. But getting to the U.S. is much harder than many of them realize. And a caravan found out the hard way that it’s better not to come.

From Fox News:
A caravan of over 500 migrants seeking to cross into the U.S. dissolved before reaching the border, Guatemalan officials said Monday.

The caravan originated in Honduras but dissolved shortly after crossing the border into Guatemala on Sunday, the Guatemalan Migration Institute says. Guatemalan authorities stopped the caravan a few miles after it entered the country and returned those without proper documentation to Honduras.

A group of around 500 migrants was broken up after trying to enter Guatemala from Honduras. Authorities stopped the caravan and demanded proper documentation. When 500 of the migrants failed to provide paperwork, they were sent back to Honduras.

However, those who had documentation (an undisclosed number) were allowed to continue.

While this news might come as a relief to worried Americans, 500 is only a small fraction of how many continue to bombard the border. Recently, a caravan of 8,000 made it to Mexico, headed for the U.S. border.

Over 5 million illegal aliens have entered the country since Biden became president. That number is most likely already outdated, as hundreds of thousands seek to enter the country monthly. Federal authorities are not removing migrants, but processing them and letting them into the U.S. interior.

The number of illegals is most likely higher than 5 million, given the fact that many are entering without being apprehended by Border Patrol. Republicans have accused Biden of wanting the migrant crisis, as Democrats seem to be using migrants to sway close elections nationwide.

Key Takeaways:

  • A caravan of 500 migrants was disbanded in Guatemala.
  • Authorities required documentation from the group, those who could not provide it were sent back to Honduras.
  • This comes as millions of illegal aliens entered the country under the Biden administration.
